Christmas morning was very nice! Santa was very generous and the kids and Mommy and Daddy all loved their presents. The morning was nice and quiet and the kids played with their new toys. Late afternoon we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Arago's house for a delicious meal. Afterwards the kids helped put on a really cute puppet show for Jesus' Birthday telling the Christmas story and helping sing Christmas songs. Christmas Day was very nice and we continued to visit with more family throughout the 12 days of Christmas. On Sunday we drove to West Palm Beach to go to Grandma and Grandpa Palmi's house. We enjoyed good food and company and the kids loved playing with their cousins. We also watched the Dolphins game there where we cheered on the Fins who earned a place in the Playoffs!
On Christmas Eve we all went to the 4:30 mass and afterwards hosted dinner and snacks at our house. The evening was very enjoyable and peaceful and the kids were anxious for Santa to come that night. We made brownies and the kids poured him a glass of milk. They made him pictures that he loved (according to the note they got from him the next morning) and we left carrots outside for the hard working reindeer.
Allison and a few other members from St. Catherine of Siena (including Aunt Colleen who was nice enough to participate) were part of the Carolers who sang before and after a few of the Masses around Christmas time. They put in quite a bit of practice hours which helped them sound beautiful!
Brett took the boys to the Orlando Magic game last night vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves. They had a BLAST and loved it every time the Magic scored. The final outcome was a "W" for the Magic and the boys are now huge Magic fans!!!
Sea World is our favorite Theme Park! Not only does it have great shows, and lots of stuff for the kiddos--they don't forget about the adults--it is an Anheuser Busch Park! Brett and I love the beer/cheese sampling "class" and the free beer throughout the day while we are enjoying quality family time! :)
Allison thinks that she might be interested in photography one day. She thinks that our camera is a toy--well it is MY toy but not hers. Anyways, when the kids were playing outside one day she decided to have fun taking pictures of them around the backyard. The kids love playing in that big tree in the backyard and Brett thinks that he might try making some kind of treehouse for them this summer. :)
We had a very nice Thanksgiving this year. During the day it was pretty quiet around our house and we enjoyed our kids company while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Late afternoon we went over to my parents house for a delicious meal! They were excellent hosts and everything was very enjoyable. We hope all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving too!
