Early Crawling and Diving

Catherine will be 6 months in about a week and she's starting to move around quite a bit! She really wanted to get ahold of this paper earlier today. Alli was a little upset b/c she painted on the paper and didn't want Catherine to detroy it....oops! Allison didn't want me to record her little tantrum either but oh well...I did! Catherine will be easy to shop for and please this Christmas! :)

Catherine "The Doll"

So Aunt Kathleen gave Allison Carmens old baby doll cradle. Alli absolutely loves her new cradle BUT what could be more fun than putting a real baby in a doll cradle? Apparently-nothing. The kids were easily amused and Catherine was a great sport!

Sean's Website

My brother Sean has a (mainly political) blog/website that I really like if you're interested in checking it out sometime. It's www.aragoweb.com

My sister-in-law Sarah also contributes occasionally to the blog.

Enjoy!

Bartow Volleyball Tournament/High School Reunion

The Varsity volleyball team that I coach is now 11-0 after winning the Bartow Invitational Volleyball Tournament! YAY! We played 4 games yesterday and were hoping that we would get out of there at a decent time so Brett and I could make it to my 10 year high school reunion in downtown Orlando. (which is about an hour and a half from Bartow) The tournament had some very competitive teams and our girls played awesome which landed them a spot in the Championship match and a trophy to take home at the end of the night. After the last game started about an hour and a half later than it was scheduled to start we left the gym very late. Brett and I went home to shower and get dressed quickly and by the time we got to downtown Orlando the reunion was over. We went to one of the bars a couple of blocks away where most of the people who were at the reunion went for the after party. After talking with a couple of people who I actually liked in high school I realized that I'm so glad that I didn't leave my tournament early to rush to the majority of people that I didn't care about 10 years ago--b/c I still really don't care for them today either! I said my hellos and made small talk to a couple of people but my closest friends from h.s. are still my friends today. Brett and I, and my good friend Paula and her husband James, left about an hour after getting there and headed to the Ale House for a late night dinner which was the highlight of the night. We were exhausted after the late night and couldn't wait to get some sleep! I'm so proud of my undefeated team and so glad how everything worked out. It looks like I'm going to get my $70 refund for the reunion tickets that I wasn't able to use that I bought months in advance. My friend Paula asked me, "Do you think I can get my money back too since I didn't have any fun there?" Paula said she was mainly going to the reunion b/c I was going as well as our friend Laura. We all know my story and Laura got the stomach flu the day before the reunion. Oops! Sorry Paula!

Chris' Stitches

Mr. Christopher was our first child to receive stitches! YAY! He got 3 stitches in the back of his head yesterday. The sad part is that we don't even know how it happened!!! I was running errands with the kids yesterday and when it was time to get out of the car I noticed Chris had blood on his arms. He didn't know where it came from and told me that it was from "food" that he had eaten earlier. After not being able to find any cut I wiped the blood/"food" off of his arms and started to once again try and unload the car. When Chris was completely out of the car I noticed he had some blood on the back of his head and after looking through his hair (thank goodness it's pretty short!) a cut on the back of his head too! It was about an inch long and was really slender. He has no clue what he cut it on and doesn't remember doing it. I didn't find anything sharp in the van either. Luckily our locaction to our family practice doctor was about a mile away and within 30 minutes or so Dr. Fernandez stitched up Chris' cut and we were on our way to finish up our errands for the day. Chris will tell you that he thinks it's fun to get stitches and that the shot he got in the back of his head (to numb the cut) made it not hurt at all. Boys are indeed a different breed! Within the few minutes it took to unload the car he obviously got into trouble somehow. Boys will be boys!

The Fab 4 (When Catherine was really tiny)

Miami Dolphin's Training Camp

The kids had a blast at the Miami Dolphin's Training Camp! We flew into Ft. Lauderdale for a day trip where Manny picked us up. The kids got lots of autographs and are very proud to be Dolphin Fans!!! Catherine stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa!

Nikki's Wedding in Virginia

Nikki and Jason got married on August 9th. It was a very enjoyable weekend that Brett and I had without the kids. The kids stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Arago and had lots of fun themselves!

Catherine Ann

Catherine is such a happy baby who is now 5 1/2 months! Time flys I know!!! Catherine has started to scoot a little bit and we think that within the next couple of weeks she could very well be crawling! Her FAVORITE toy of all is her Raggedy Ann doll that she got from Uncle Tim and Aunt Ellen!
